Campaign Brief: Common Ventures wins Salmat creative duties

Customer marketing and engagement specialist, Salmat has appointed full-service creative agency Common Ventures as its agency of record after a non-competitive pitch.

After working on numerous projects for the brand, including the recent "I wish I'd thought of that" campaign, Salmat has decided to engage Common Ventures across all areas of the business.

Says Sarah Pike, chief marketing officer at Salmat: "We're focused on being the leader in innovative and scalable customer marketing and engagement solutions. To achieve this, we're planning to roll out a number of new and revamped products and services in the coming months. Common Ventures will be critical in helping us take these to market. Having worked with them on a number of projects already, we're confident in their expertise in strategy, creative and technology, and believe they are the right partner to help us achieve our mission of building deep, enduring and valued relationships with our clients."

Says Damian Damjanovski, managing director at Common Ventures: "Salmat is an amazing brand and one of the powerhouses in the Australian marketing industry. It boasts excellent products and a strong team that we're excited to be working with. The company is planning to launch some extremely ambitious projects over the next 12 months and we're excited to help bring them to market."

This announcement follows the recent appointment of Pike, formerly from Optus, as Salmat's chief marketing officer. Pike is responsible for establishing a clear framework and process for building and maintaining innovative products and services; as well as driving all marketing activity across the company.

For more than 30 years, Salmat has been a leader in customer marketing and engagement, helping its clients get closer to their customers. To ensure the company continues to deliver optimal value to its clients, it has simplified its business operations and streamlined its suite of products and services to harness new technology and grow profitability.
